How would you describe your decorative style?
Elegant French country style with weathered furniture, old vintage and antique pieces.
What do you love about France?
I have travelled to many countries but France is definitely my most favorite place on earth.
I love the culture, history,nature,coastlines, romantic villages and the stunning Loire castles.
Do you have a favorite place in France and why?
Beautiful Provence, Brittany (because of the rugged coastlines), Normany ( magnificient timber framed houses and apple orchards), Burgundy ( the vineyards and lovely green valleys).
What's the easiest way to create your elegant yet cozy style?
Making your home cozy and comfy is a must. But keep it simple: Less is more. Don't overcrowd your space.Try to create balance and symmetry.
What is your inspiration and creative process?
Decorating is al slow process that takes time as you collect, add, purge, search for bargains.
I always start with a moodboard and buzzwords. Pinterest, interior magazines and blogs are very inspiring.
What is your advice to replicate your style?
Use natural flooring, neutral color palettes, earthy accents, linen and cotton fabrics.
Combine modern elements with old pieces, use romantic chandeliers they are a perfect and elegant addition to your home.
In what way autumn influences your home?
Warm blankets, kelim cushions, candles, cinnamon smell, baskets whit apples on my kitchen table and pumpkins on my garden table. A beautiful wreath on my front door.
What do you love about flea markets?
I love the authentic French atmosphere and strolling through the summer brocantes.
It is a great feeling to find unique pieces and treasures.
What is the most treasured piece you have found?
An antique crested mirror found in a shabby depots de vente near Paris.
A blog filled with inspiration, a shop full of treasures and now a beautiful B&B.
Whats next ?
At this moment I need all my concentration and enthousiasm in them. I will also work on small projects
and I hope to continue my beautiful trips to France
